Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

While this Olive Garden offers the same menu items found across the country, this restaurant has something most do not--a pleasant, efficient, and cheerful staff and manager. A HUGE thank you goes to restaurant manager Laura Retherford, server Brandon, and the bus boy. Keep up the exceptional work!

Out of Chicken Parm and Flatbread at 7:30 on Thursday Night. Shame on Jennifer the Kit Mgr for guessing on the truck order.

Interestingly enough, I love pasta but don't go out to eat it as much. My hubby and I decided let's try the new items in the menu. I got the carbonara wings! It was super spicy but delicious! I loved every single bite!!!! Only get this if you can handle the heat! We tried the Olive Garden three course meal. I had Zuppa Tuscana...delicious as always. Can't go wrong with potato and sausage. My pasta dish was not good. It was overcooked and dry. The shrimp however looked undercooked. But the manager says that was how the shrimp was suppose to look. I'm sorry but if my shrimp is iridescent, then it's not cooked. I would only go back for the soup and wings. But probably not the pasta at this place again.

We are not huge fans of Olive Garden but thought we would give it a try after shopping. It was one of the cleaner and better designed Olive Gardens we have been in. My wife's pasta fagiole soup was hot and very tasty. My salad was fresh and very good. My wife had the cheese ravioli and I had the rosemary chicken. Her ravioli was good though it was served just warm and needed more sauce. My chicken was pretty good, nothing too special but it was served fresh off of the grill. Our waiter Aaron was also excellent. I think the good thing about Olive Garden is that you are pretty full from bread sticks and salad that your entree can be not quite up to par and you are still satisfied. Not the best way to evaluate a restaurant but it is true!

When I had been asked to pick a place to grab a bite, it had NEVER been Olive Garden coming out on top. However my girlfriend talked me into it and a good friend was tagging along so i figured i would give them another chance. I am now forced to eat my words on everything i had ever said about this place :/ lol. First of all the service. Our waiter was very courteous and helpful like always with their staff. He recommended the chocolate mousse cake which was very good (but rich so beware!) I went with the cucina mua which is a three course meal. I ordered the chicken & gnocci soup as my appetizer and was surprised to discover flavor in Olive Garden food existed. The soup was quite tasty although the dumplings were mushy. For my pasta i had cavatappi with spicy diavolo sauce. It was good sauce with a decent kick to it but not nearly enough to cover the pasta, major bummer. I topped off the pasta with sausage meatballs which were cooked just the way i like. I even managed to try an italian soda for the first time I chose cherry with cream, amazing! So yes for the first time in my life i was pleased with Olive Garden however I hope they would consider adding more sauce.

Food was was burnt fron the sautee cook, but the Manger made it right and the kitchen manger did also. I would of given four stars but our waitress was rude when I sent my food back.

Just had an awesome experience. Hostess was very pleasant and concerned about us having great seating. Food was delicious and our waiter Wilmer was the BEST!!! After two bad meal experiences today, this evening at Olive Garden made it all good!!!

Ordered dinner for family of five. The one kids meal ordered was wrong and got it corrected but took a very long time. They could have at least not charged us for the kids meal because by the time it came, my kid wasn't hungry anymore.

Meh... Olive Garden is steadily going downhill. The best thing here is the salad and bread sticks. I like a couple of their soups too. The most consistent thing about their pasta dishes is the lack of flavor. Everything tastes like it came out of a can or the freezer. I dunno, I'm not just a fan anymore.

It's a CHAIN -- enough said. Soup and salad seems to be the best deal. however, it's not that great -- the salad is ok, the soups they have to offer are way too salty, The bread sticks are ok. Service is decent - they did manage to hire some decent ppl -- can't complain about that. In one word --- it's a chain, mass production, lots of precooked and prebaked stuff, frozen food .... you get what you pay for. The only reason I go to Olive Garden is because one of my friends likes it and prefers to have girls lunch out there, otherwise I could live without it.

There are better choices for Italian, but my 8 year old loves the soup and salad so we come for that. It's an OK place to eat, but I would not choose it myself. The staff is attentive here, and it's sometimes hard to get a refill of soups...but they are not stingy with the breadsticks, and that makes the kids happy.

We have eaten at OG maybe 6 times over the past 3 years. It's not terrible, it's not great. After our dinner last night, I thought a review was in order. The Good: The salad was predictably good, and the bread was great. The server was friendly, but not too trying to be my best friend... a good balance. 3 of the 5 entrees were very good. The Bad: My entree and my daughters (we both had short ribs) were like dried hunks of charcoal in a watery broth. I was surprised they even brought such terrible looking plates out of the kitchen. I took one bite and called another server over, and she agreed our food was burnt. She sent the manager right away, and I politely explained that the meat was completely burned, and tasted awful. She apologized and offered to bring us new plates. The Resolution: The manager personally brought our 2nd round of short ribs out, by which time the rest of the family was finished eating, and waited for us to try them. They were excellent, the sauce was actually sauce, not brown water, and the risotto was OK... about as good as can be expected from OG. The Final Outcome: The manager went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied, and actually thanked me for pointing out the problem. A free dessert or coffee would have been a nice touch, but none were offered. We left full and happy, and will likely go back. Our options are fairly limited here, and I appreciate their effort for fixing the problem.

It's not the best italian food in town Guido's is much better. Still it is fairly good. The food every time we have been has been good. It's not excellent Italian but no olive garden is. The service has always been good too.

For a chain restaurant Olive Garden normally produces a solid meal and pleasant enough ambience. We have dined at the Spanish Fort Olive Garden many times. When we stopped in for a meal this March we were very disappointed. Having had a full but very satisfying day we were in a really good mood upon arriving. Between the very poor server and unusually bad kitchen service we are unlikely to return too this location for some time. The mussels arrived at the table still very cold, after being sent back to the kitchen they came back out reheated in a microwave until they were beyond tough and dry. The Lobster Cannaloni was nothing like it's menu illustration or discription. A sloppy, wilted and tastless mess, only the heavy cream sauce had any degree of flavor and it did not begin to suggest it was a sea food meal. The Revolution wine while very expensive was excellent as were the garlic bread sticks. It was distressing to have gone in feeling a sense of accomplishment with the day's agenda and then to receive service so poor that we skipped eating and left after several attempts to have the difficulties we were experiencing resolved. They took the mussles off of our bill however made no other ttempt beyond trying to get us to split a dessert to make us feel as if our concerns were both heard and valid. If you eat here stick with the most generic of menu items, trying their newer offerings was a lesson in futility.
